Der Blumenkohl

Hallo von Zürich!!

Surprise, we made it to Switzerland and right when we got home we ran into our old friend, Samichlaus! #success #evengotveganmealsondaplane #thanksswissair #santaonalog

Within just a couple hours of being here, we discovered the best treat Switzerland (and Idalia's Oma) has to offer... No it's not cheese or chocolate, think again. It's dates stuffed with marzipan!!!! #lifechanger #canteatjustone

Right now we're at Idalia's Oma's house, in a suburb of Zurich, with Idalia's sister and her two friends from Oberlin. Six ladies, one apartment, two languages, can you say girls gone wild?!

We also rediscovered our old favorite tacky preteen clothing store. We were tempted to go on a shopping spree to get: a glittery ear cuff that says "what? huh?," a hat that says "dude" written in fake mirrors, a leotard with a wolf on it (Maddie and Kate, that would've been for you), and some NYC underwear! Luckily, we had some level headed friends to pull us away from the store before we actually bought anything.

We gotta go cook up a storm of vegan food for dindin.

Until next time, your fav gal bloggers,

Zidalia

Word of the day:
der Blumenkohl = Cauliflower

Wir kochen Blumenkohl mit Tahini, Reis, und Tofu für Abendessen. Wir haben Jogurt, Soja Milch, und Gemüse gekauft. Wir sind bei Idalias Oma bis Samstag. Idalias Schwester, Sophia, ist auch hier mit ihren Freundinnen, Kara und Caitlin.

Some romantic lighting for the power couple
